India, June 24 -- BMW Motorrad has taken its India-made F 450 GS adventure motorcycle to Malaysia, where it is priced nearly double its India price.

BMW Motorrad has launched the F 450 GS in Malaysia, but its price has caught everyone's attention. The adventure motorcycle, which is built by TVS Motor Company at its Hosur plant in Tamil Nadu, is priced at Rs 4.70 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. In Malaysia, however, it costs RM 40,000, which is around Rs 9.14 lakh. That means buyers there are paying almost twice as much for the same motorcycle produced at the same factory.
