India, Nov. 7 -- Hero MotoCorp has entered the middleweight adventure motorcycle segment with the Xpulse 450, unveiled at EICMA 2026. The new motorcycle brings a 421cc liquid-cooled engine, rally-developed hardware, and smartphone integration, putting it in direct competition with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The latter has already established itself in the segment with its 452cc Sherpa engine, long-travel suspension and touring-focused equipment. Although both motorcycles are designed to handle highways and off-road routes, their approach to adventure motorcycling is different. Here is how the two compare across design, cockpit technology, engine specifications, and expected pricing.
