India, March 16 -- Ducati has launched the Desmo450 MX in India at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 17.24 lakh. Bookings are currently open, while deliveries are slated to commence by the end of this month. The motorcycle will be sold through four select Ducati dealerships in New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Pune. The Desmo450 MX, as the brand's first-ever motocross, made its global debut on international shores last year in April. For a first in the segment, the Ducati Desmo450 MX comes with a traction control system and a Desmodromic valve system. In the 450cc class, Ducati's inaugural motocross will compete against bikes such as the Kawasaki KX450.
