India, Aug. 7 -- Bugatti has expanded its exclusive Programme Solitaire portfolio with the unveiling of the Destrier, a one-off hypercar based on the track-only Bolide. Instead of chasing lap records or aerodynamic efficiency, the Destrier explores what the Bolide's extreme proportions would look like without the oversized wings, ducts and race-focused aerodynamic elements. The result is a road-car-inspired sculpture that retains the Bolide's carbon-fibre chassis and 1,578bhp quad-turbocharged W16 engine but shifts the spotlight towards design, craftsmanship and Bugatti's coachbuilding heritage.

It follows the Brouillard and F.K.P. Hommage as the third bespoke Programme Solitaire commission, with every detail tailored for a single owner....
