India, Aug. 6 -- BMW India has confirmed that the long-wheelbase version of the X1 will make its debut in the country on August 21. The new model is expected to offer more rear-seat room and feature upgrades, making it a more practical alternative to the standard X1. The move comes after the introduction of the all-electric iX1 Long Wheelbase, which expanded the brand's compact luxury SUV portfolio last year.

BMW has not revealed the full specifications yet, but the teaser confirms that the launch is just weeks away.
