India, March 19 -- The new A2 e-tron will be manufactured at Audi's Ingolstadt plant in Germany. It will have its global debut in Autumn 2026.

Audi has confirmed that its new entry-level electric car will go by the name A2 e-tron. The new model will revive a familiar A2 nameplate of the hatchback sold between 1999 and 2005 as an ICE-powered model, but with an electric twist under Audi's e-tron lineup. The compact battery-powered car will be manufactured in Ingolstadt, Germany.
