India, July 29 -- The Tata Punch EV has earned a five-star safety rating in the latest Bharat NCAP crash tests. The assessment was carried out in May 2026 using the Adventure 40 and Empowered Plus S 40 variants, but the rating applies to the entire Punch EV range.

The certification applies to the entire Punch EV range, including all six variants offered with both the 30kWh and 40kWh battery packs. That means buyers choosing the entry-level version receive the same crash safety rating as those opting for the flagship model, making safety one less thing to worry about.
