India, July 28 -- The 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift is set to make its debut in India on 18 August, bringing a series of cosmetic and feature upgrades to the Czech carmaker's mid-size sedan. The update follows the launch of the refreshed Kushaq earlier this year and is expected to align the Slavia with Skoda's latest design language. The mechanical package is expected to remain largely unchanged, although the facelift will introduce a new automatic gearbox for the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, along with updates to the exterior and cabin.

Once launched, the updated Slavia will continue to compete with the Hyundai Verna, Honda City and Volkswagen Virtus, the latter also expected to receive a facelift before the end of the year.
