India, May 20 -- The 2026 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe EV gets an aggressive design, illuminated grille, active aero parts and turbine-style tail lamps inspired by AMG concepts.

The 2026 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe EV is here, marking one of the biggest changes for AMG in recent years. The brand's new four-door performance EV drops the traditional V8 engine for a three-motor electric setup producing up to 1,153bhp. Despite going electric, Mercedes-AMG has added a simulated V8 soundtrack, artificial gearshifts and rear-wheel steering to keep the driving experience engaging. The new model also debuts AMG's 800-volt electric platform, supports 600kW charging and delivers a claimed range of up to 700km.
