CANBERRA, ACT, Aug. 21 -- The Treasurer of Australia issued the following media release:
The Albanese Government will nominate Amanda Sayegh for appointment as the Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund and Ruth Moore for appointment as the Alternate Executive Director at the World Bank Group.
These appointments will ensure Australia has a high calibre of representation at two of the world's most important financial institutions at a time of heightened uncertainty in the global economy.
