FIRST OF 22 NEW SCHOOLS OFFICIALLY NAMED AHEAD OF 2027 SCHOOL YEAR

BRISBANE, Queensland, Sept. 15 -- The Queensland Department of the Premier and Cabinet issued text of the following statement:

* The first five of 22 new schools being delivered by the Crisafulli Government have been officially named, ahead of the 2027 school year. * Foundation students will begin classes in Term 1 next year for the five new schools in southern Queensland. * Crisafulli Government is building Queensland's future and delivering 22 new schools, including nine special schools, as part of a record $23.1 billion education budget, after a decade of decline under Labor.
