* Construction has commenced on the Doomadgee water treatment plant, marking a major milestone for the water security project.
* A new 2 megalitre treated water storage tank and associated pipework has been installed.
* The project has supported 11 local Indigenous jobs and invested more than $746,000 through local Indigenous businesses.
* The new critical water infrastructure will support access to safe, clean and reliable drinking water for theDoomadgee community into the future.
