Vijayawada, Aug. 24 -- Former Andhra Pradesh Minister and YSR Congress Party leader Jogi Ramesh on Monday strongly condemned attempts to politicise a personal dispute involving his son Rajeev and daughter-in-law Meghana.

He said family matters were being deliberately used to target him politically and malign his family.

Speaking to the media, Ramesh said he had performed his responsibility as a father and grandly conducted Rajeev's marriage. After marriage, differences arose between the couple. The family sincerely wanted them to live together and made several efforts to bring about reconciliation. However, as the differences increased, Rajeev filed a divorce petition.
