YSRCP alleges industries leaving Andhra Pradesh due to coalition leaders' harassment and extortion demands
Guntur, Aug. 22 -- Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) spokesperson Putta Sivashankar said industries are being driven out of Andhra Pradesh because of harassment and extortion demands by coalition leaders.
Speaking at the YSRCP Central Office on Saturday, he said the industrial sector has plunged into crisis after the coalition government came to power, with even existing investors leaving the State.
He claimed that the Rs 6,675-crore Tata Power project proposed in Nellore moved to Odisha, while the Rs 3,538-crore Websol project planned at Naidupeta shifted to West Bengal, and demanded that the government explain why these investments left Andhra Pradesh.
