World Uyghur Congress slams China's growing transnational repression, urges global action over systematic abuses
Munich, May 17 -- The World Uyghur Congress (WUC) has released its weekly brief highlighting China's expanding transnational repression, political coercion, and systematic abuses against Uyghurs.
A major controversy emerged after the abrupt cancellation of the RightsCon conference in Zambia, which had been scheduled for May 5-8 and was expected to host nearly 3,000 participants.
