New Delhi, Aug. 21 -- Noting that India is pushing ahead with reforms across sectors, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the world sees India as a bright spot for growth and hope.

Addressing the Economic Times World Leaders Forum 2026 here, he said the government is rewarding higher production with incentives.

The Prime Minister said India has political stability and continuity in its policies and the government is moving from a "prohibited unless permitted" to "permitted unless prohibited" approach.
