Howrah, June 3 -- Managing Director (MD) of Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ), Karan Adani, paid a "courtesy call" on West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari at Nabanna (State Secretariat).

Earlier, CM Suvendu Adhikari inaugurated a new Bharatiya Janata Party office in Bhawanipur Ward No. 71.

Adhikari also offered prayers at the historic Taraknath Temple in Tarakeswar in Hooghly district and spoke about plans for the temple's development and preservation of its heritage.

Speaking to ANI after offering prayers, Adhikari said that although his visit was linked to administrative engagements, seeking blessings at the temple was an important part of his trip.
