We oppose creation of "small cliques" "bloc confrontation", says China after Quad ministers meet in India
New Delhi, May 26 -- The Foreign Ministers of Australia, India, and Japan and the Secretary of State of the United States of America, met in New Delhi on Tuesday for the Quad Foreign Ministers' Meeting hosted by India. In a joint statement released after the meeting, the grouping voiced serious concern over the situation in the East China Sea and the South China Sea.
"We remain seriously concerned about the situation in the East China Sea and the South China Sea. We reiterate our strong opposition to any destabilising or unilateral actions, including by force or coercion, that threaten peace and stability in the region," the Ministers said in the statement.
