Voter List row escalates as INDIA b loc MPs move to Jantar Mantar
New Delhi, Oct. 7 -- INDIA bloc MPs headed towards Jantar Mantar on Wednesday to stage a protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, with Congress leaders alleging that the names of around 13 crore people have been removed from the voters' list and demanding Kumar's resignation.
Congress MP Mallu Ravi said the opposition was fighting for what he described as the democratic rights of people whose names had been removed from the voters' list.
