Vishwa Hindu Parishad reschedules key management committee meeting from Ayodhya to Delhi on July 19-20
New Delhi, July 5 -- The Central Management Committee meeting of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is set to be held in New Delhi from July 19 with around 300 representatives from across the country expected to participate in the two-day deliberations.
The meeting, which was originally scheduled to take place in Ayodhya, was postponed following the alleged theft of offerings from the donation boxes at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. It has now been rescheduled and will be held at Chhatarpur in the national capital.
According to sources, Champat Rai, who continues to serve as the International Vice President of the VHP, has also been invited to attend the meeting. However, it is not yet clear whether he will participate in the two-day eve...
