Guwahati, Sept. 1 -- Vice President of India CP Radhakrishnan is likely to undertake a two-day visit to Assam from September 6, during which he is scheduled to attend several programmes in Guwahati and Gauhati University.

According to the schedule, VP Radhakrishnan will arrive at Guwahati's Borjhar Airport at around 10 am on September 6.

During his first day in Assam, the Vice President will participate in special programmes organised at Jyoti Bishnu Kala Mandir and Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra.

Following the scheduled events, he is likely to attend a dinner hosted by Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya at Raj Bhavan.
