Uttarakhand CM Dhami transfers Rs 146.32 crore pension benefits to 9.87 lakh beneficiaries
Dehradun, Aug. 8 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday transferred Rs 146.32 crore in pension benefits through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to 9,87,017 beneficiaries under various pension schemes of the Social Welfare Department for July 2026.
The Chief Minister said the state government is committed to the welfare of every section of society. He said pension amounts are being transferred directly to beneficiaries' bank accounts in a timely and transparent manner, ensuring that eligible citizens receive the benefits of government schemes directly. He added that the government's objective is to ensure that welfare schemes reach the people at the last mile.
