Uttar Pradesh enhances airport facilities in 6 cities as yogi govt boosts air connectivity
Lucknow, June 12 -- Uttar Pradesh is expanding as a hub for civil aviation under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, with the state government driving the development of new airports, expansion of existing terminals, and improved air connectivity across the region, a statement from the Civil Aviation Department said.
The significant progress has been recorded in the Gorakhpur, Agra, Kanpur, Aligarh, Moradabad and Shravasti airport projects.
In view of the increasing number of flights at Gorakhpur Airport, the state government has decided to develop a new civil terminal.
