Lucknow, June 11 -- Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel has directed all medical and dental colleges across the state to establish dedicated 'Dharmantaran Roktham Cells' (Religious Conversion Prevention Cells).

Providing details on the implementation of these directives, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University Vice Chancellor (VC) Major General Amit Devgan stated that the university has issued clear instructions to all affiliated medical and nursing institutions regarding the protocols to be followed.

"We have received clear instructions from the authorities outlining specific measures. We have directed our medical and nursing colleges on how to implement these measures to prevent such conversions," Major General Devgan told ANI.
