Lucknow, Aug. 22 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the availability of sugar stocks in the state and directed officials to take strict action against those involved in hoarding and black-marketing of sugar, according to the Uttar Pradesh government.

As per the state government, a total sugar stock of 179.38 lakh quintals is currently available across sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh. This includes 23.60 lakh quintals in cooperative sugar mills, 5.28 lakh quintals in corporation sugar mills, and 150.50 lakh quintals in private sugar mills.
