Lucknow, Aug. 21 -- In a significant step to strengthen friendly and institutional ties between Uttar Pradesh and Japan's Yamanashi Prefecture, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Yamanashi Prefectural Assembly of Japan and the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Friday.

The agreement aims to encourage regular dialogue, mutual understanding, and the exchange of experiences between the two legislatures.

Speaker of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Satish Mahana, welcomed the delegation from the Yamanashi Prefectural Assembly of Japan.
