New Delhi, Sept. 21 -- Former diplomat Ajay Bisaria on Monday warned that the100% US tariff threat on Russian oil would mark a "serious escalation" in trade tensions between Washington and New Delhi, urging the US to issue a waiver and treat India as a strategic partner after US President Donald Trump signed the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026 into law on Friday (local time).
