Washington DC, May 22 -- US Senator Lindsey Graham on Friday (local time) said Cuba would soon be free from communism amid growing rhetoric from American lawmakers and Cuban officials.

Graham said in a post on X, "I believe the liberation of the wonderful people of Cuba from the clutches of communism is close at hand. Cuba Libre."

US Representative Carlos A Gimenez also voiced support for political change in Cuba.

"SOS Cuba: 'And now, the end is near. And so I face the final curtain. My friend, I'll say it clear: I'll state my case, of which I'm certain. I did it my way.' Cuba will be free thanks to the merits of countless people inside and outside of Cuba. Not much longer," Gimenez said in a post on X.
