US EIA raises Q4 oil price forecast to USD 105 amid Middle East supply risks, diesel market tightness
New Delhi, Oct. 7 -- The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has raised its forecast for Brent crude oil prices for the fourth quarter of 2026 to an average of USD 105 per barrel, citing continued constraints on Middle East oil flows, attacks on energy infrastructure and tight diesel markets.
The US EIA raised the Q4 Brent forecast by USD 14 per barrel from the previous month's outlook. The EIA said oil flows from the Middle East are expected to remain constrained through the fourth quarter, although regional shut-in production in September was the lowest since hostilities began.
