Hapur, April 13 -- At least six people were killed and seven others injured after a bus carrying wedding returnees collided with a truck on the Dhaulana-Gulawati road in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur district on Monday, according to the Police Media Cell.

Superintendent of Police Gyananjay Singh said the accident occurred when the passenger bus, returning from a wedding procession, crashed into a truck.

"A bus carrying passengers who were returning from a wedding procession collided with a truck on the Dhaulana-Gulawati road. Police teams immediately reached the spot, investigated the incident, and began relief work.
