New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- Union Minister for Agriculture Shivraj Singh Chouhan will visit Bihar on Wednesday, September 16, to assess the overall flood situation and evaluate the related damage across the state.

During the visit, the Union Minister will conduct an extensive aerial survey of various flood-affected areas of the state, interact directly with affected farmers and common people, and review relief and rescue operations in a high-level meeting with senior officials in the presence of Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary.

A team of senior officials from the Union Ministries of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Rural Development will also accompany Shivraj Singh during the tour.
