New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- The Ministry of Labour and Employment, in collaboration with the Maharashtra government, will organise a two-day National Conference on Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) in Mumbai on September 11-12 to review the implementation of the new Labour Codes and strengthen welfare delivery mechanisms for construction workers.

The conference will be held under the chairmanship of Union Minister of Labour and Employment and Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya and will be attended by Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment and MSME Shobha Karandlaje, Labour Ministers and senior officials from States and Union Territories, Chairpersons and Secretaries of BOCW Welfare Boards, and senior officers fr...
