New Delhi, Sept. 29 -- Union Minister for Education Pralhad Joshi held a bilateral meeting with Minister for Higher Education, Research and Space of France, Philippe Baptiste, in New Delhi on Monday.

The two Ministers discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation between India and France in education, research, innovation, academic mobility and institutional partnerships.

According to the Ministry of Education, while welcoming the French Minister and his delegation, Joshi highlighted the longstanding India-France partnership and emphasised that cooperation in education was an important pillar of the bilateral relationship.
