UNHRC Session: India's water-security model can inspire other nations, says GIWEH Director General
Geneva, Sept. 15 -- Director General of the Global Institute for Water, Environment and Health (GIWEH), Dr. Nidal Salim, highlighted India's approach to water security and said its use of digital information and smart technology could serve as an inspiration for other countries, on the sidelines of the 63rd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).
Speaking on how India's water-security model could inspire other nations, Salim said India, with its huge population, needs a comprehensive approach to ensure water security for its people.
