Dehradun, Aug. 14 -- On the eve of India's 80th Independence Day, as part of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's initiative to honour the families of soldiers who laid down their lives in service of the nation and interact with them personally, he visited the residence of late Army soldier Amit Kumar Anathwal Dehradun

The Chief Minister met with the family members of the deceased soldier at the latter's residence in Bhaowala and enquired about the well-being of Amit Kumar Anathwal's father, Nagendra Prasad Anathwal, and other family members. The Chief Minister paid his heartfelt tribute to the brave soldier and honoured his family.
