Two US service members killed, one missing in Jordan after Iranian strikes, says CENTCOM
Washington DC, July 18 -- US Central Command (CENTCOM) on Saturday (local time) said that two US service members were killed and another remains missing in Jordan following Iranian strikes on the US military assets at the Al-Azraq Air Base.
In a statement on X, CENTCOM stated that the incident occurred while American and partner forces were defending against the Iranian "ballistic missiles and drones" assault.
According to CENTCOM, the service members were killed on July 17 while performing their duties during the coordinated defence against the Iranian strikes.
