Bhopal, May 20 -- The alleged dowry death case of Twisha Sharma has taken a fresh turn as the victim's family and their lawyer accused investigative agencies of mishandling the probe and attempting to weaken the case by influencing procedures at AIIMS Bhopal.

Advocate Ankur Pandey, representing the victim's family, alleged that authorities were trying to "contaminate" both the medical examination process as well as the investigation and demanded that a second autopsy examination be conducted at AIIMS Delhi.
