Tiruchirappalli, March 31 -- Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay will file his nomination on April 2 for the Tiruchirappalli East Assembly constituency ahead of the upcoming state elections.

Vijay will submit his nomination before the Assistant Returning Officer at the Ariyamangalam Zonal Office (Zone 2). The filing is scheduled for 12:30 PM at the Tiruchirappalli East Tahsildar Office, sources said.

As part of his visit, Vijay will also undertake election campaigning in the constituency. TVK Chief Coordinator KA Sengottaiyan and Delta Zone Observer Ku.pa.Krishnan has reportedly been holding consultations and inspecting venues where Vijay is expected to address public gatherings.
