New Delhi, March 25 -- A trust-based tax administration is the central pillar of the Finance Bill 2026, intended to reduce unnecessary hardship for honest taxpayers, stated Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.
Addressing the House, the Minister emphasized that the government is steering the nation through a new era of economic governance characterized by systemic clarity rather than reactive measures.
