Washington, July 31 -- US President Donald Trump has instructed the military to execute a fresh assault against Iran as early as this weekend, according to a Wall Street Journal report published Friday.

Citing unnamed US officials, the newspaper stated that the proposed military action aims to compel Tehran into surrendering.
