Agartala, July 4 -- BJP's West Tripura Lok Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister for Rural Development and Agriculture Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Chief Minister Manik Saha for the sanction of Rs.96.73 crore for the construction of 56 rural road projects in the West Tripura parliamentary constituency under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY)-IV, Batch-I (2026-27).

In a social media post, Deb said the approved projects will cover 74.51 kilometres of rural roads and provide all-weather road connectivity to 56 rural habitations, significantly improving transportation infrastructure across the constituency.
