Shimla, Aug. 19 -- Tibetan Buddhist monk and scholar Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok, former Deputy Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, has expressed optimism over the growing interest among young Indian students in Tibet, its history, culture, environment and longstanding relationship with India, saying the younger generation can play an important role in carrying forward a deeper understanding of India-Tibet ties.
