New Delhi, July 12 -- Delhi Police on Sunday dismantled a key segment of the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate with the arrest of three shooters responsible for a high-stakes extortion scheme. The investigation revealed that the accused were taking direct instructions from handlers based overseas, who escalated demands from Rs 1 crore to Rs 5 crore through systematic harassment.

During the course of their investigation, authorities recovered illegal firearms and unearthed evidence of the gang's strategy, which involved monitoring the victim's home and sharing the footage to instil fear.
