New Delhi, Oct. 22 -- Delhi Police's South District has denied permission for singer Diljit Dosanjh's Aura India Tour concert scheduled to be held on October 30, at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.

South District DCP issued the order on October 21, following a permission request submitted by BookMyShow Live on October 14.

According to the order, the police cited specific threat-related inputs, multiple security and law-and-order commitments during the ongoing festive season, and other law-and-order concerns.

The letter states that the request to organise the concert "cannot be acceded to."
