New Delhi, July 14 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy requested Union Minister for Road Transport Nitin Gadkari to secure the Union Cabinet approval for the pending Northern part of the Regional Ring Road (RRR) and commence the works expeditiously.

According to a press release, the Chief Minister met with Nitin Gadkari at the latter's residence today in Delhi. During the meeting, the CM brought to the attention of the Union Minister that 95 per cent of the land acquisition for the RRR North region has already been completed.

Nitin Gadkari has been requested to grant the necessary approvals for the southern section of the RRR, it said.
