Hyderabad, Aug. 15 -- Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao on Saturday accused the Congress government in the state and the previous BRS government of pushing Telangana towards a debt trap, while asserting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Centre was working for the state's development.

On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, Rao said people should assess the development taking place in Telangana and identify who was contributing to the state's progress.
