Hyderabad, Aug. 23 -- The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested a Sub-Inspector of Police (SI) and a constable of Chanda Nagar Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate, for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 75,000 from a complainant for showing official favour in a case investigation.

According to the ACB, accused officer Bandela Balraj, Sub-Inspector of Police, and constable B Raghavendra Kumar were caught red-handed by ACB officials of the Ranga Reddy Range while accepting the bribe amount.

The ACB said the SI had demanded and accepted Rs 75,000 from the complainant for investigation of the case in Chanda Nagar Police Station and to file a charge sheet.
