Hyderabad, July 29 -- The Attapur Police are continuing their search for a trainee IPS officer of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), Shivarampally, in connection with allegations of harassment, assault and blackmail.

The accused has been booked by the Attapur police following a complaint by a 30-year-old fellow woman trainee officer of the same academy alleging sexual harassment, assault and criminal intimidation.

Further details are awaited in the case as the probe continues.

According to the registered FIR, the complainant alleged that the accused had been harassing her since June 23 by sending sexually abusive messages on WhatsApp and making derogatory remarks about her before fellow trainees.
