Tejashwi Yadav seeks justice for 19-year-old who allegedly died in custody in Madhubani, writes to NHRC
Patna, Aug. 23 -- Bihar Leader of Opposition (LoP) Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday wrote to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) seeking an independent inquiry and urgent intervention into the alleged custodial death of a 19-year-old youth in Madhubani district.
Attacking the state government over the incident, Yadav took to social media platform X, alleging rampant administrative failure and brutality.
"In Madhubani, 19-year-old Roshan Yadav was brutally murdered by the police while in police custody. A letter was written to the National Human Rights Commission to seek justice for the victim and demand strict action against the guilty officials. We will raise this matter on every platform to ensure justice," Yadav said.
