Dibrugarh, April 1 -- A tea garden worker expressed happiness after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited a tea garden in Dibrugarh, Assam, on Wednesday and interacted with the women working there.

Sharing her experience after meeting the Prime Minister, the worker said that it was a special moment for them as they had only seen him earlier on television and in newspapers.

While speaking to ANI, the tea garden worker said, "We felt very happy that the Prime Minister came to visit us. We used to see him on TV or in the newspaper..."

She further spoke about the interaction during the visit and how they showed him their work.
